Department for Renewable Energy
General information
The Department develops proposals for the formation of state policy in the field of support for the use of renewable energy sources, provides guidance and inter-sectoral coordination in the field of support for the use of renewable energy sources, and develops and coordinates regulatory and legal acts in the field of support for the use of renewable energy sources, making proposals to improve state standards in the use of renewable energy sources for the production of electric and (or) thermal energy, as well as implementing international cooperation in the use of renewable energy sources.
The Department includes:
1) Sector for renewable energy development;
2) Sector for development and monitoring of renewable energy facilities.
