Department of Urban Planning and Housing and Communal Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Department of Urban Planning and Housing and Communal Policy is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Main tasks:

1) Participation in the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities

2) Participation in the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of housing relations, public utilities and municipal waste management (with the exception of solid waste), water supply and sanitation, heat supply (except for thermal power plants and boiler houses that produce thermal energy in the district heating zone) within settlements.

3) Implementation of other tasks assigned to the Ministry within its competence.
