The customs post belongs to the category of "specialized", because it performs customs clearance and control of goods transported within the framework of the Tengiz project. At the customs post, Tengizchevroil LLP and its contractors, who are exempt from customs duties and taxes (hereinafter referred to as TPiN), mainly undergo customs clearance according to the Project Agreement dated April 2, 1993 between the Republic of Kazakhstan and TCO, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 6, 1993 No. 1168 "On the activities of the TCO Joint Venture".
