Department of State Control in the Sphere of Hydrocarbons and Subsoil Use
Department of state control in the sphere of hydrocarbons and subsoil use (hereinafter - the Department) participates in the implementation of the state policy in the sphere of subsoil in part of hydrocarbons and uranium mining, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, transportation of hydrocarbons, production of separate types of oil products, gas and gas supply pipelines.
The Department provides state services in the areas of hydrocarbon gas and gas supply, as well as exercise state control in the sphere of subsoil in part of hydrocarbons and uranium mining, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, transportation of hydrocarbons, production of separate types of oil products, gas and gas supply, pipelines and subject to the conditions of subsoil use contracts.
Participates in the development and develops regulatory legal acts and regulatory technical documents, within its competence takes part in the development and implementation of state and industry programs.
Analyzes data on available information, including using the web portal «electronic government» and information systems, develops semi-annual lists of preventive control and supervision with visits to the subject (object) of control in regulated areas in accordance with the Business code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Coordinates the activities of the Republican state institution «Western interregional management of the state inspection in oil and gas complex of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan» and «the southern interregional management of the state inspection in oil and gas complex of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan».
