The state institution "Department of Religious Affairs of the Аbai region" is a goverment agency that exercises leadership in the field of religious activity in the territories of the Abai region.

Objectives:

1. Implementation of functions in the field of religious activity;

2. Conducting outreach and explanatory work at the local level, including the study of the activities of religious associations and missionaries;

3. Ensuring the timely and high-quality development of draft regulatory legal acts (RLAs) by the Department, in compliance with standards of literary language, legal terminology and drafting techniques, and the authenticity of texts in both the state and Russian languages.
