Biography
Marat Baktybekuly was born on October 17, 1976, in the city of Atbasar, Tselinograd Region. He enrolled in the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H. Yassawi and graduated with honors in 1997.
He began his service in law enforcement agencies in 1999 and has held the following positions at various times:
Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Formation and Statistical Control of the CPC in West Kazakhstan Region;
Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of the Application of Laws in the Socio-Economic Sphere, Transport Prosecutor’s Office of West Kazakhstan Region;
Senior Assistant to the Mangystau Transport Prosecutor;
Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Legality in the Activities of State Bodies, East Kazakhstan Regional Prosecutor’s Office;
Head of the Department for Supervision of Legality in the Activities of State Bodies, Semey City Prosecutor’s Office.
He also worked in private organizations:
Assistant to the Prosecutor of Al-Farabi District, Shymkent City, South Kazakhstan Region;
Assistant to the Prosecutor of Kentau City, South Kazakhstan Region;

He has more than 24 years of service in law enforcement agencies.
