Ikhanov Galimzhan Shaikovich was born on April 3, 1974 in Kerdeli rural district, Shieli district, Kyzylorda region.
In 1981-1991 he studied at the Kazakh secondary school named after Nartai Bekezhanov №156 in Nartai village.
In 1992 he entered the Faculty of Consumer Goods of the Almaty Zootechnical Veterinary Institute.
In 1997-2000 he started working as a technologist at the Zhetysu shoe factory in Almaty.
From 2000 to 2002 he worked as an operator and cashier at the private enterprise "Samat".
From 2003 to 2007 he worked as a chief specialist in the agricultural department of Shieli district.
From 2009 to 2010 he worked as a weigher in the limited liability corporation "Astana Stroy Service".
From 2011 to 2012 he worked as a senior manager of the administrative and economic department of the limited liability company "ABK Avtodor AS".
From August 1, 2016 until the positive results of the mandatory special inspection, he has been the akim of Bestam rural district.
