
Zhumabek Rauan
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates
Biography
Born on August 24, 1981. Graduated in 2003 from the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.
He began his diplomatic career in 2004 as a Referent at the Department of Asia and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Over the years, he has held various positions within the central office of the Ministry and in Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. From 2014 to 2019, he served as Inspector and Head of Sector at the Foreign Policy Center of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.
From 2019 to 2024, he held the position of Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai.
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to the UAE , from February 2024 he served as Director of the Department of the Middle East, Near East, and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
He holds the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Second Class.
Speaks in Arabic and English.
