Imanbayev Bolat

Born on 31 January 1968.

Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1990 and from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in 2017.

He began his diplomatic career in 1994 as First Secretary of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

* 1998–1999 – Adviser, State Protocol Directorate of the Third Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* 1999 – Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* 1999–2000 – Head of Division, Committee for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* 2000–2003 – First Secretary, Adviser at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Lithuania.
* 2004–2005 – Director of the Department of International Humanitarian and Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* 2005–2008 – Adviser at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Federal Republic of Germany.
* 2009 – Deputy Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* 2009–2011 – Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
* 2011–2014 – Adviser at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Federal Republic of Germany.
* 2014–2017 – Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation.
* 2017–2019 – Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation.
* 2019–2021 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia; from January 2020, concurrently Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brunei Darussalam.
* Prior to his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Serbia, from February 2021 he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

He is fluent in German and English.
