Sarsembekov Valikhan

Since 2005, he has been serving in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the years, he has held various positions at the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at Kazakhstan’s foreign missions abroad.

Among others, he served as Attache and Third Secretary of the Department of Asia and Africa of the MFA of Kazakhstan, Referent at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), Second Secretary of the Department of Asia and Africa of the MFA of Kazakhstan, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the SCO Secretariat, as well as Counsellor and Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the People’s Republic of China.

Prior to his appointment as Consul General, he served as Deputy Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since June 2025, he has been serving as Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Guangzhou.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Counsellor First Class.
