Biography
Baiyrkhan Merey Bakytbekuly was born in 1984 in the Tarbagatai District of the East Kazakhstan Region. In 2007, he graduated from the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University with a degree in “Traffic Management,” and in 2019, he graduated from the Kazakh University of Transport and Communications with a degree in “Transport Construction.”
He began his career as a dispatcher at the LLP “Center for Passenger Transportation” in the city of Astana.
From 2007 to 2012, he worked as a leading specialist and then as a chief specialist at the Municipal Public Institution “Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the city of Astana.”
In 2015–2016, he served as a chief specialist at the Municipal Public Institution “Department of Public Utilities of the city of Astana,” and from 2016 to 2025, he held the positions of Head of Division and Deputy Head at the Municipal Public Institution “Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the city of Astana.”
Before his current appointment, he held the position of Head of the Passenger Transport and Highways Division of the city of Semey in the Abai Region.
Since November 7, 2025, he has been appointed Head of the Municipal Public Institution ‘Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the Abai Region.’
