Кожапова Роза Абзаловна

Kozhapova Roza Abzalovna was born on June 26, 1964, in the village of Gromovka, Zharminsky district, Semipalatinsk region.

In 1981, she graduated from secondary school. From 1981 to 1982, she worked as a cashier at the “Pogranichnik” state farm in Sarkand district, Taldy-Korgan region. From 1982 to 1988, she studied at the Karaganda State Medical Institute.

From 1988 to 1990, she worked as an epidemiologist at the sanitary-epidemiological station of the Andreevsky district, Taldy-Korgan region, and resigned due to relocation (marriage).

From 1990 to 1994, she worked as an epidemiologist at the sanitary-epidemiological station of the Soviet district of Almaty. She resigned due to a transfer to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 1994 to 1997, she served as a leading specialist of the Chief Sanitary and Epidemiological Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 1997 to 2005, she worked as the chief expert of the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Committee under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2005 to 2008, she headed the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance of the same committee. From 2008 to 2014, she again held the position of chief expert of the Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Committee.

From March to October 2014, she served as Head of the Department for Epidemiological Surveillance of Infectious Diseases of the Consumer Rights Protection Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2014 to 2017, she worked as chief expert of the Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the Committee for Consumer Rights Protection of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2017 to 2019, she was Head of the Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the Committee for Public Health Protection of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2019 to 2020, she headed the Department for Epidemiological Surveillance of Infectious Diseases of the Committee for Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2020 to 2025, she served as Head of the Department for Epidemiological Control of Infectious Diseases of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since 2025 to the present – Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
