Baibatyrov Margulan Zhumadildayevich

Margulan Zhumadildayevich Baibatyrov was born on October 7, 1985, in Satpayev, Ulytau Region.

From January 21, 2013, to March 31, 2013, he worked as a Site Geologist at Akchi-Spasskaya Mine, a branch of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, Production Association «Zhezkazgantsvetmet,» in Zhezkazgan, Republic of Kazakhstan. From April 1, 2013, to June 30, 2013, he served as Lead Mine Geologist at the same branch. From July 1, 2013, to December 2, 2013, he held the position of Chief Geologist of the Western Zhezkazgan Mine. From December 3, 2013, to February 2, 2014, he worked as a Site Geologist at Mine 73/75 of the Western Zhezkazgan Mine. From February 3, 2014, to May 30, 2014, he served as a Section Geologist at the Itauy 3 section of the Northern Zhezkazgan Mine.

From June 5, 2014, to July 10, 2015, he worked as Head of the Solid Minerals and Groundwater Service at the Republican Geological Information Center «Kazgeoinform,» under the Committee of Geology and Subsoil Use of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Astana. From July 13, 2015, to November 12, 2015, he acted as Interim Chief Expert of the Subsoil Expertise Department of the Committee of Geology and Subsoil Use under the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, pending the results of a special verification process. From November 13, 2015, to December 24, 2018, he served as Chief Expert of the same department.

From December 25, 2018, to March 12, 2019, he worked as Chief Expert of the Subsoil Expertise and Fund Department of the Committee of Geology and Subsoil Use under the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From March 13, 2019, to August 15, 2019, he continued in the same role under the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development. From August 16, 2019, to March 31, 2020, he held the position of Chief Expert of the Subsoil Expertise and Fund Department under the Ministry of Ecology, Geology, and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From April 1, 2020, to April 24, 2023, he served as Head of the Subsoil Expertise and Fund Department under the Ministry of Ecology, Geology, and Natural Resources. From April 25, 2023, to October 31, 2023, he worked as Head of the Subsoil Expertise and Unified Cadastre Department under the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development. From November 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, he held the same position under the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since January 5, 2025, he has been serving as Deputy Chair of the Committee of Geology under the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Astana.
