Zhakyanova Kulzhiyan worked in the secondary and higher education system in different years, subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
She began her career in the prosecutor's office in 2004 as a chief specialist in the logistics department of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Further, the prosecutor of the department for control and supervision of the registration of citizens' appeals and inspections of state governing bodies of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounting of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Astana (2006-2008);
Prosecutor, Senior Prosecutor of the Organizational Control Department of the Organizational and Personnel Work Department of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2008-2012);
