He began his professional career in 2001 as a Referent, Attaché, Third Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2003 – 2007 - Third secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan, Second Secretary, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands.
2007 - Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2007 to 2011 - Expert, Protocol Consultant, Deputy Press Secretary, State Inspector of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2011 - Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2013 – 2016 - Press Secretary and Adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2016 – 2020 - Minister of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2020-2021 – First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2022 – 2023 - Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Prior to his appointment as the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, he held the position of Deputy Secretary General of the CIS since March 2023.
On July 3, 2023, by the Decree of the Head of State, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation.
He holds the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the II class.
