Zharylgapov Sayan Zhangazievich

Sayan Zhangazievich Zharylgapov was born on October 1, 1988, in the village of Aktau, Zhanaarka District, Karaganda Region (now the Ulytau Region). He is of Kazakh nationality.

Education and Professional Qualifications

1. In 2011, he graduated from E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University (KarSU) with a degree in 050504 – Journalism, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences.
2. In 2022, he graduated from E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University (KarSU) under the educational program 6B01403 – Physical Education Teacher Training, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
3. In 2012, he graduated from the Semipalatinsk Law College with a specialization in Initial Military Training, receiving specialized education.

Achievements and Awards

For his contribution to public and social development:

• awarded a Certificate of Honor of the Karaganda Region;
• received a Letter of Appreciation from the Akim of Akmola Region for professional achievements;
• received a diploma in the “Best Radio Report” category as part of anti-corruption initiatives;
• has repeatedly received letters of appreciation for cooperation with veterans’ organizations, promotion of national values, and a high level of organization of cultural and public events.

2012–2014 — Inspector of the State Language and Information Group, Human Resources Department, Department of Internal Affairs of Karaganda, Karaganda Region.

2014 — Senior Specialist at the KSU “Employment Center of the Oktyabrsky District of Karaganda” under the Akimat of Karaganda.

2018–2021 — On-Air Presenter at “Publishing House” LLP.

2021–2023 — Deputy Director of the KSU “Resocialization Center for Persons in Difficult Life Situations” under the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Karaganda.

Since 2023 to the present — Director of the KSU “Active Longevity Center of Karaganda” under the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Karaganda.

As a result of his active civic and political engagement, in 2023 he put forward his candidacy in the elections of deputies of the Karaganda City Maslikhat.

Currently, he places particular emphasis on the development of the Active Longevity Centers, improving the well-being of older citizens, and implementing social and cultural projects in the region.
