Batrashev Daulet

Mr Batrashev graduated from K.Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University in 1993.

He began his career in 1993. He served in the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and later held the posts of Assistant to the Prime Minister and Deputy Head of the Senate Office.

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he served as Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief of Staff of the Ministry, and Ambassador-at-Large.

His overseas diplomatic postings have included the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. He served as Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Amsterdam and as Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands. From 2011 to 2014, he was Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Kingdom.

From 2014 to 2019, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Romania. From 2019 to 2025, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Portugal.

In January 2025, Mr Batrashev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Croatia. In October 2025, he was concurrently accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

He is fluent in English and Turkish.
