Biography
Yerlan Abayev was born on October 25, 1969 in the village Bayanaul of Pavlodar oblast .
After graduating from high school, he served in the Soviet Army from 1988 to 1989.
He received his higher education in 1993 at the Karaganda State University named after E.A.Buketov, majoring in law.
He began his prosecutorial career as an intern, and then as an investigator of the Prosecutor's office of the Ilyichevsky district of Pavlodar, a senior investigator and an investigator for the Department of Internal Affairs of the Prosecutor's Office of the Pavlodar region, a prosecutor of the prosecutor's office of the region.
In 1998-2008 he worked as a prosecutor of the Irtysh and Uspensky districts of Pavlodar oblast.
Since 2008, he has held the position of prosecutor of Pavlodar.
In 2013, he was appointed Head of the Department of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana.
In 2016, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of the Legality of the Pre-trial stage of the criminal process of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2017, he became the head of the Criminal Prosecution Service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2018, he graduated from academic courses for persons who are in the Presidential Reserve of the Leadership of Law Enforcement Agencies of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2018 to 2022, he headed the Prosecutor's office of the Mangystau oblast.
In June 2022, he was appointed to the post of prosecutor of the Abai oblast.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 05, 2022, he was awarded:
- the 3rd class rank of State Adviser of Justice
-the 2nd degree of the Order "Aybin"
- the 1st degree of "Prosecutor's Office of Ozata",
-the badges "Honorary Employee of the Prosecutor's Office",
- "Prosecutor's Office of Ardageri"
-Certificate of Honor of the Prosecutor General and other departmental awards.
