Сейткожаев Кайрат Кунтуганович

Seitkozhaev Kairat Kuntuganovich

Born on February 18, 1977.

Graduated from the Kazakh Institute of Consumer Cooperation with a degree in Economics. Graduated from the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.Satpayev with a master’s degree in «Management».

Seitkozhaev K.K. is certified in International Public Sector Financial Reporting Standards (CIPFA) and «Government Auditor».

He began his career as a senior researcher in the Department of Economic and Statistical Research at the Institute of Training, Retraining and Advanced Training. He was a lecturer in the Department of Economics and Statistics in ZAO «Almaty Institute of Economics and Statistics» («Almaty Institute of Economics and Statistics», CJSC).

Between 2001 and 2002, he passed an internship at Indian Statistical Institute with a degree in Economic Planning and Development, Calcutta.

Since 2003, he has worked in various government positions in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2006, he worked as the Head of the Development Strategy Department in the Development Strategy and Budget Planning Department of AO «Small Business Development Fund» («Small Business Development Fund» JSC).

Since July 2008, he has appointed the Head of the Department of Budget Planning and Public Procurement of the Finance and Administration Department of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan.

Between 2008 and 2011 he worked as a deputy director, acting director of the Department of Administrative Work and Public Procurement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Internal Trade of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Between 2011 and 2016, Seitkozhaev K.K. worked in various positions in TOO «Astana Solar» («Astana Solar» LLC) of NAC Kazatomprom. Then, between 2016 and 2018, he was appointed deputy general director, acting general director in TOO «Astana Solar» («Astana Solar» LLC) of NAC «Kazatomprom».

In 2018, he was director of the Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since January 2023, he has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Audit Commission of North Kazakhstan region.
