Rakhimzhanova Maral Tleulesovna

Maral Tleulesovna Rakhimzhanova was born on November 20, 1967, in the village of Korgalzhyn, Korgalzhyn district, Tselinograd region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

She holds a higher medical education. From 1986 to 1992, she studied at the Karaganda State Medical Institute, Faculty of Sanitary and Preventive Medicine, majoring in Hygiene, Sanitation, and Epidemiology.

For her outstanding performance, she has been awarded:

• 3rd Degree Medal "For Contribution to the Creation of the Eurasian Economic Union" (2015)
• The badge "For Contribution to the Development of Healthcare" (2015)
• The "People’s Gratitude" medal (2020)

• The 3rd Degree Medal of the National Chamber "Atameken" – "For Loyalty to the Cause" (2021)
• A letter of gratitude from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2021)

She began her professional career in 1984 as a hospital orderly at the Korgalzhyn District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in the Tselinograd region, as well as in City Children’s Hospital No. 4 and City Hospital No. 3 in Karaganda.

From 1986 to 1992, she studied at the Karaganda State Medical Institute in the field of Hygiene, Sanitation, and Epidemiology.

From 1992 to 2002, she worked as a sanitary doctor and chief physician of the Korgalzhyn District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station of the Tselinograd region.

From 2002 to 2003, she served at the Akmola Regional Sanitary and Epidemiological Station as Head of the Department for Child and Adolescent Hygiene, and later as Head of the Sanitary Department.

From 2003 to 2005, she held positions as Head of the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department in the city of Kokshetau and Head of the Legal, Human Resources and Standardization Department of the Akmola Region State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Office.

From 2005 to 2014, she worked as a leading specialist and chief specialist of the Sanitary and Hygienic Control Department and the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Standardization, as well as an expert and chief expert of the Sanitary and Hygienic Surveillance Division of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2014, she was appointed Head of the Department for Cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union and the World Trade Organization at the Department for Control over Compliance with Technical Regulations of the Consumer Rights Protection Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2014 to 2017, she served as Chief Expert and Head of the Sanitary and Hygienic Surveillance Division of the Consumer Rights Protection Committee under the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2017 to 2019, she was Head of the Sanitary and Hygienic Surveillance Department of the Public Health Protection Committee under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2019 to 2020, she worked as Head of the Department for the Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases and Control over Facilities of the Committee for Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2020 to 2022, she worked as Head of the Department for Sanitary and Hygienic Control and Supervision over Catering, Educational, and Upbringing Facilities under the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since June 2022, she has been serving as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
