
Yeskarayev Azamat
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of India
Biography
Born in 1979 in Almaty. In 2000, he graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy.
He began his professional career in 2000 as a lead specialist at the Department of Legislation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the years, he held various positions within the Ministry, including Director of the Department of Analytics and Strategic Planning and Director of the Department of Legislation.
From 2005 to 2006, he served as Chief Inspector to the Akim of Almaty. From 2006 to 2007, he worked as Chief Manager of the Legal Service Department at JSC "Sustainable Development Fund ‘Kazyna’."
From 2014 to 2023, he held the position of Deputy Head and later Head of the Legal Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India for the term 2023–2025, he served as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He is fluent in English.
