Hong Kong, September 8, 2026 — On September 9–10, 2026, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the annual 11th Belt and Road Summit, jointly organized by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. This year, the Summit is themed "Meticulous Development - Embarking on a New Journey" and serves as a premier global platform for deepening economic and trade ties, multilateral partnerships, and market integration across the Silk Road region.
Kazakhstan will take an active part as a pivotal link in the implementation of this initiative and a strategic partner in the development of transcontinental connectivity. The Kazakhstani delegation at the summit will be led by the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A. Shakkaliyev.
The forum will bring together over 6,000 participants, including government officials, investors, and top executives from more than 70 countries. The program features over 800 business matching sessions and presentations of more than 300 investment projects. Industry experts will discuss global strategies in infrastructure, sustainable finance, digital technologies, and the development of logistics corridors.
