Today, August 28th, 2020, a roundtable discussion was held at the Kostanay Regional Akimat's Employment and Social Programs Coordination Department. At the initiative of the public association of visually impaired persons, "The World Through Our Eyes," a roundtable discussion was held. The roundtable included representatives from the Regional Akimat's Department of Social Welfare Regulation and Control, the Kostanay Regional Akimat's Employment and Social Programs Coordination Department, the Kostanay City Akimat's Employment and Social Programs Department, the Kostanay City Akimat's Physical Culture and Sports Department, and the Kostanay City Akimat's Education Department.
The event focused on current issues of social support for persons with disabilities, the operation of the Social Services Portal, the provision of social assistance, the protection of rights, and ensuring accessibility.
