Riyadh, August 19, 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov met with Chairman of “Alfanar Group” AbdulSalam Al-Mutlaq.
The meeting focused on the prospects for Alfanar Group’s participation in energy projects in Kazakhstan, including cooperation in renewable energy, electricity generation, as well as the introduction of advanced technological solutions.
In turn, Abdulsalam Al-Mutlaq noted the company’s interest in exploring new opportunities to expand its international operations and expressed readiness to continue negotiations with the Kazakh side on prospective projects.
The meeting also addressed opportunities to establish direct business contacts between “Alfanar Group” and relevant Kazakh companies.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue dialogue to identify specific areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
“Alfanar Group” is a Saudi business group founded in 1976. The company operates in the fields of energy, electrical engineering, engineering, construction and infrastructure. “Alfanar Group” implements projects in Saudi Arabia and international markets, including major solar and wind energy projects.
