On July 30, 2026, employees of the Aktobe city prosecutor’s office prevented another case of internet fraud.
Earlier, in early July, citizen Zh. Mamedova started receiving calls from fraudsters who were trying to fraudulently get hold of her funds. Thanks to the timely actions of the prosecutor’s office staff, the attempted fraud was prevented.
However, on July 30, during a follow‑up preventive intervention with citizen Mamedova, it was established that the perpetrators had once again started contacting her via WhatsApp, promising various gifts and trying to continue the communication.
Prosecutor’s office staff promptly identified the phone numbers from which the messages were sent, and measures were taken to block them.
Be vigilant! Do not trust strangers who promise gifts or money. Do not share personal data, bank card details, or SMS codes with unauthorized individuals.
