In the Abai region, employees of the maximum security institution of the penitentiary system took part in the donation campaign "Become a donor - save a life!", joining forces for one of the most important missions — saving human lives.
More than 30 employees of the institution, including both young specialists and experienced employees with many years of service, voluntarily donated blood to replenish the regional bank. Each participant of the campaign donated from 400 to 450 grams of blood, making a real contribution to providing medical institutions with vital blood components. For many participants, donation has already become a stable tradition and an integral part of active citizenship.
Every donation is a real chance to save a life. Regular participation in donation campaigns allows you to maintain the necessary blood supply for patients in need of emergency medical care. We sincerely thank the staff of the institution for their responsiveness and high level of social responsibility," said Abai, a specialist at the Regional Blood Center. Saule Turarova, internist at the Department of Donor Recruitment.
-Participation in donor campaigns has become not just a good tradition for her, but a conscious life position and a manifestation of civic responsibility.:
"I have been participating in donation campaigns for many years, and for me this is not just a good tradition, but a conscious life position and internal responsibility to society. Every time I come to donate blood, I think about people who are on the verge right now — those who urgently need help, and whose lives may depend on one donor. At such moments, it is especially clear that in order to save a life, you do not need to perform a feat — it is enough to lend a helping hand.
Donation is about humanity, mutual support and willingness to be around, even if you don't know this person. The realization that your blood can give someone a chance to recover, see their loved ones, and continue living is a feeling that cannot be overestimated. I am sincerely convinced that if a person has the opportunity to become a donor, he should take advantage of it. This is our common contribution to the preservation of the most valuable thing — human life," said Einel Bolat, an employee of the institution.
The action once again proved that even one step can be crucial for saving a life. The staff of the institution plans to continue to actively support the donor movement, contributing to strengthening the healthcare system and preserving the lives and health of citizens.
