
On August 16, 2025, the large-scale Ak Maya Fest took place at the foot of Airakty Mountain in the Mangystau Region.
The festival welcomed nearly 15,000 visitors, offering an immersive experience of Kazakh traditions, customs, and cultural heritage. Guests enjoyed approximately 6,000 liters of traditional shubat, participated in traditional games and sporting activities, and attended interactive workshops on handicrafts and nomadic culture held inside traditional yurts.
The evening concert featured performances by Erke Esmakhan, Raim, Luina, Amre, and Yenlik, accompanied by an orchestra, DJs, and rap artists, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere.
The highlight of the celebration was a spectacular drone light show involving more than 500 drones, which illuminated the night sky with images of the National Flag of Kazakhstan and traditional Kazakh ornaments.
Ak Maya Fest became one of the region's most memorable cultural events, celebrating national heritage while showcasing the tourism potential of the Mangystau Region.
