On July 5, 2025, ahead of Kazakhstan's Capital City Day celebrated on July 6, employees of the Mangystau Region Tourism Department, together with representatives of the Kettik Mangystau and Mangystau Tour 999 tour operators, took part in an environmental cleanup campaign.
The event was organized as part of the nationwide "Taza Kazakhstan" environmental initiative. Participants cleaned the coastal area stretching from the Samal waterfront to the Amphitheater stage in Aktau.
The campaign aimed to preserve the cleanliness of public and tourist areas, promote environmental awareness, and encourage both residents and visitors to take greater responsibility for protecting the region's natural environment.
