On July 30, 2026, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development "KazAID", Nurgali Arystanov, held a meeting with Serhan Aktoprak, Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Kazakhstan and Coordinator for Central Asia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical migration issues, regional cooperation in Central Asia, as well as opportunities to strengthen interaction between KazAID and IOM. In addition, an exchange of views took place on prospective joint initiatives aimed at improving migration management, capacity building, and regional development.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation and develop partnership through the implementation of joint initiatives and projects.
