    Kazakhstan and Peru Discussed Bilateral Cooperation

    Brasília, July 28, 2026 – A meeting was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan between Ambassador Bolat Nussupov and the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan to Peru, Mr. Fredy Saravia.

    During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of political dialogue, trade, economic and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Peru, as well as the organization of joint activities.

    The Ambassador of Kazakstan briefed the Honorary Consul on the countriy's ongoning large-scale political reforms including the entry into force of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 1, 2026, the upcoming elections of deputies to the unicameral Kurultai, and the formation of the Kazakhsytan People's Council.

    For his part, Mr. Fredy Saravia presented a report on his efforts to promote bilateral cooperation and consular matters, including the protection of the rights and interests of Kazakh citizens residing or staying in Peru. During the meeting, the Honorary Consul received a number of recommendations and assignments.

    At the conclusion of the meeting, after congratulating his counterpart on Peru's National Day – Independence Day, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan expressed his gratitude for the successful cooperation and presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Embassy in recognition of his contribution to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Peru.
