
During a working trip to the Kostanay district, the head of the region inspected the construction progress of new dairy farms.
«The President of the country has set the task of increasing the share of processed products in the agro-industrial complex to 70% within three years. To ensure year-round employment for rural residents and increase production volumes, the state provides comprehensive support for investment initiatives,» — noted the akim of the region.
Last year, 7 modern industrial dairy farms with a total capacity of 46,000 tons of milk per year were put into operation in the region. Currently, the construction of 6 more similar facilities with a total capacity of 34,000 tons is ongoing. Of these, 5 will be launched this year, and construction of another 4 farms will begin by the end of the year.
By the end of this year, two dairy farms designed for 1,000 and 400 head of cattle will be put into operation in the Kostanay district:
- Nadezhdinka LLP — annual production capacity of 7.5 thousand tons of milk, investment volume of 4.2 billion tenge, creation of 40 new jobs;
- DK Maksat KZ LLP — annual production capacity of 4.4 thousand tons of milk, investment volume of 3.2 billion tenge, creation of 32 new jobs.
«Once all dairy farms reach their design capacity, milk production in organized farms will double. In addition, the utilization of milk processing enterprises will increase from 75% to 86%. Thanks to the launch of two new dairy farms in the Kostanay district, the annual milk production volume will increase from 32,000 to 44,000 tons after the enterprises reach their design capacity,» — emphasized the head of the region.
