The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development has launched a number of initiatives aimed at creating favorable long-term conditions for the development of technology entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.
As part of the country's digital transformation strategy, the government is developing a long-term framework for supporting Astana Hub participants beyond 2028, with a planning horizon extending to 2045.
Purpose of the Initiative
The initiative aims to create a predictable and competitive business environment that will strengthen Kazakhstan's position as a regional IT hub. The long-term vision through 2045 takes into account global trends in artificial intelligence, the expansion of export potential, and the need to attract high-tech investments.
Today, the Astana Hub ecosystem continues to demonstrate strong growth: 2,268 companies are registered in the hub, 35,000 highly skilled jobs have been created, more than USD 910 million in investments have been attracted, and exports of Kazakh IT solutions have reached USD 1.9 billion.
Developing a long-term strategy for Astana Hub is a key priority of Kazakhstan's state policy aimed at making the country one of the world's most attractive jurisdictions for technology businesses.
