
The revenue side of the local budget of the East Kazakhstan Region, in terms of tax revenues, amounted to KZT 81.7 billion for the first four months of 2026. Against a planned target of KZT 66.5 billion, budget execution reached 122.8%, exceeding the plan by KZT 15.2 billion.
Local budget revenues are generated from three levels of budgets: district budgets, the regional budget, and the budgets of local self-government bodies.
For the first four months of 2026:
- District budgets collected KZT 60.7 billion;
- The regional budget collected KZT 17.6 billion;
- Local self-government budgets collected KZT 3.4 billion.
In total, local budget revenues amounted to KZT 81.7 billion.
The largest share of local budget revenues was generated from the following sources:
- Corporate Income Tax (CIT) from legal entities, excluding revenues from large businesses, accounting for 28.2% of total revenues, or KZT 23.0 billion;
- Individual Income Tax (IIT) withheld at the source of payment, accounting for 26.3% of total revenues, or KZT 21.5 billion;
- Social Tax, accounting for 23.0% of total revenues, or KZT 18.8 billion.
