On 3 July 2026, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Plan for Organizing Training for Participants in the Electoral Process, held a seminar for representatives of political parties on the preparation and conduct of the elections of deputies of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for 23 August 2026.
Members of the Central Election Commission and representatives of government agencies served as the main speakers at the seminar.
During the seminar, the participants were informed about the specific aspects of the elections of deputies of the Kurultai and received explanations regarding innovations in electoral legislation, including issues related to the nomination and registration of party lists, non-state financing, the conduct of election campaigning, and the activities of authorized representatives.
The participants were also provided with comprehensive answers to all questions of a legal and organizational nature concerning the ongoing electoral campaign.
