    North Kazakhstan Region's Digital Aimaq project expands onto the international stage

    A delegation led by Ruslan Alishev, Head of the Office of the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China to promote the development and expansion of the Digital Aimaq project.

    The primary objective of the visit was to explore China's best practices in rural digitalization and strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan's Digital Aimaq project and China's Digital Village initiative.

    During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of Chinese government agencies, leading technology companies, and members of the expert community. The parties exchanged experience in implementing digital transformation projects, discussed promising areas of cooperation, and explored opportunities to introduce advanced technological solutions in rural communities across the North Kazakhstan Region.

    As a result of the negotiations, several memorandums of cooperation were signed with Chinese companies. These agreements will create new opportunities for implementing joint initiatives in the region and introducing advanced technologies, further supporting the digital transformation of rural areas.
