The landscaping and improvement works on the new SHUAQ pedestrian alley have been completed in Almaty’s Bostandyk District. Located on Dunayevsky Street, between Serkebayev and Radostovets Streets, the alley has been transformed into a modern public space for residents to enjoy walking and recreation.
As part of the project, new pedestrian pathways were laid and landscaping works were carried out. The area now features a children's playground, pergola swings, an illuminated fountain, and a 7-metre-high sculptural installation that serves as one of the alley’s architectural highlights.
Particular attention was given to creating a comfortable and attractive urban environment that combines functionality, landscaping, and contemporary public-space design.
The project was implemented with sponsorship support and without the use of public budget funds.
The new SHUAQ alley will become another popular gathering place for Bostandyk residents, offering a welcoming environment for family activities, walks, and leisure.
