On October 20, 2026 a group of civil servants of the Republic of Tajikistan arrived in Astana on a study visit to get acquainted with transformation of food systems in Kazakhstan for better nutrition. The four-day visit has been organized by the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and its programme includes meetings with various ministries and state entities of Kazakhstan, visit to the 17th international exhibition KazAgroFarm 2026 and a pilot project site in the Akmola region.
Speaking at the gathering between the representatives of government entities of Kazakhstan and delegation of Tajikistan, Deputy Chairman of Kazakhstan Agency of International Development "KazAID" Amb. Jandos Asanov, while briefing on the work of KazAID in the field of food security, called the participants of the event for greater interaction in order to achieve common goals and objectives in this field.
