Mr. Han Chunlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid a special visit to the city of Arkalyk.
The distinguished guest met with Kostanay Region Akim Kumar Aksakalov. The Ambassador familiarized himself with the culture and arts of the Tobol–Torgay region and took part in a meaningful event dedicated to the creative legacy of the outstanding Kazakh composer Bakhytzhan Baikadamov and the renowned Chinese composer Xian Xinghai.
The name of Xian Xinghai is closely associated with the Kostanay region. He contributed to the establishment of the regional philharmonic and composed a symphonic work dedicated to the heroic deeds of Amangeldy Imanov, a national hero of Kazakhstan.
“Art is a shared heritage that brings peoples closer together. The creative legacy of great figures strengthens friendship between Kazakhstan and China and contributes to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties. I am confident that friendship and strategic partnership between our two countries will continue to grow stronger, and that our cultural ties will be enriched with new achievements,” said Kostanay Region Akim Kumar Aksakalov.
