Algiers, 22 October 2026– As part of a series of events marking the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, the 35th anniversary of Independence and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Embassy of Kazakhstan organized a presentation of Kazakhstan at British School Algiers.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for Algerian and international students, teachers and members of the diplomatic corps to discover Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage, national traditions, cuisine and modern achievements.
Particular attention was drawn to the Kazakhstan stand, prepared by Kazakh schoolchildren. Guests had the opportunity to learn more about the history and distinctive culture of Kazakhstan and view traditional clothing, items of everyday life and symbols of Kazakh statehood.
One of the highlights of the programme was a performance of a Kazakh dance by a student of the school.
Kazakh delicacies prepared by our compatriots also attracted considerable interest among the guests.
