Cairo, 21 October 2026– The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileuberdi, held an official meeting with the newly appointed 9th Secretary-General of theLeague of Arab States Nabil Fahmy.
The two sides discussed key issues aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the Arab world and the Central Asian region.
In his regard the Head of MFA of Kazakhstan congratulated the LAS Secretary-General on officially assuming office and highlighted the organization's vital role in defending international law and maintaining regional stability.
As part of the discussions, the parties reviewed the potential signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding, which is set to reflect joint bilateral efforts to ensure peace and security in the Middle East.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
In closing, the Kazakh side reaffirmed its strong commitment to elevating the dialogue with theLeague of Arab Statesto a qualitatively new level and wished the leadership of the organization continued success.
