Cadastral Digital Services to Transition to a New Coordinate System
The Unified State Cadastre of Real Estate is transitioning to the new state coordinate system, QazTRF-23. In connection with this transition, technical maintenance will be carried out on the Unified State Cadastre of Real Estate’s digital system and the Public Cadastral Map from 7:00 PM on October 23 to 12:00 AM on October 27, 2026, including weekends and public holidays.
Technological advancements require updates to the methods used to determine coordinates. Previously, methods developed before the advent of satellite technology were used. Today, modern systems enable more accurate coordinate determination and allow spatial data to be processed at a new level. The transition to such systems is a global practice, and Kazakhstan is also adopting this approach. As a result, spatial data, maps, and services across various government information systems will be migrated to the new coordinate system.
QazTRF-23 is a modern, open state coordinate system introduced to replace outdated geodetic systems. It is used to determine the location of land plots, buildings, roads, and other objects throughout Kazakhstan.
Please note that during the specified period, the submission of applications for public services related to the land cadastre, real estate rights registration, and technical inspections of real estate will be unavailable. However, electronic certificates related to real estate rights registration will remain accessible through digital services.
In view of these upcoming changes, the State Corporation Government for Citizens recommends that individuals and organizations plan ahead and arrange to obtain the necessary public services in advance.
Once the technical maintenance is complete, the digital services will resume normal operations.
