Dialogue platform for the Day of Spiritual Harmony took place in Rudny

On October 14, 2026, in the city of Rudny, on the eve of the Day of Spiritual Harmony, a dialogue platform was held on the topic "Unity in diversity: a dialogue of confessions in the light of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
The Day of Spiritual Harmony is celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on October 18. The tradition of its holding dates back to 1992, when the first session of the World Congress of Spiritual Accord was held in Almaty. The participants adopted a manifesto proclaiming October 18 as the Day of Spiritual Harmony - the day of reconciliation, mutual understanding, mercy and help to one's neighbor. The holiday symbolizes the desire for peace, mutual respect and harmony between representatives of different nationalities, cultures and religious beliefs.
The dialogue platform was attended by R. Hajibalaev - member of the Қ of Kazakhstan Khaly қ Kekes, і chairman of the public organization "Ethnocultural Association of Azerbaijanis of Kostanay Region "Birlik," and M. Tuiganov - member of the republican information and explanatory group, head of the Center for training specialists of the penitentiary system to counter extremist ideology of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Kostanay aye, police lieutenant colonel.
The event was also attended by representatives of various religious associations, the Council of Aksakals, mothers, veteran and non-governmental organizations, the sports community, government agencies and the media.
During the meeting, in the context of the activities of the Hala Қ Kekes қ і, the issues of implementing the constitutional principles of freedom of conscience and religion, the priorities of the internal policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony, the role of religious associations and public institutions in maintaining public stability, as well as the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism, as well as radical manifestations.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of open interfaith dialogue, mutual respect and constructive interaction of representatives of various public groups in strengthening the unity of the people of Kazakhstan.
