Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin presented a report on socioeconomic development for the first nine months of this year at a government meeting. According to him, growth was supported by the non-resource sector, which increased by 5.4%.
"Kazakhstan's economy continues to grow and demonstrate positive dynamics. Growth in the first nine months of this year amounted to 4.2%. The combined contribution of these sectors to GDP growth is over 75%," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
Serik Zhumangarin emphasized that, thanks to the gradual diversification of the economy, the share of oil production in GDP has decreased to 7.8% by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, the share of manufacturing has increased to 14.1%, and mining to 12.4%.
