The Astana Tourism Development Center, Astana Tourism, organized a familiarization tour for media representatives from the Republic of Cyprus.
The delegation included the leadership of the Cyprus Association of Travel Writers and Journalists, a member of the World Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers (FIJET), as well as representatives of leading Cypriot media outlets, including journalists and presenters from the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC).
During their visit, the international guests explored the capital’s main tourist attractions. The delegation visited the Baiterek Monument, Nur-Sultan Mosque, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the Astana Opera State Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Museum of Arts, the Ishim River embankment, and the Alem AI venue.
Special attention was also given to the city’s gastronomic offerings. The guests visited Koktem Bistro and Qazaq Gourmet, a restaurant specializing in national cuisine.
The familiarization tour provided the journalists with an opportunity to discover the capital’s architecture, cultural heritage, modern urban spaces, and diverse culinary offerings. Following the visit, the media representatives will prepare publications for their audiences highlighting Astana’s tourism potential and current travel opportunities in Kazakhstan’s capital.
