On October 7, 2026, a joint meeting of the standing commissions of the Kostanay City Maslikhat was held under the chairmanship of Nadezhda Kostenyuk.
The meeting addressed the following issues:
adjustment of the basic land tax rates in the city of Kostanay;
approval of tariffs for the collection, transportation, sorting and disposal of solid household waste for the population;
election of members of the Kostanay City, district and precinct election commissions to replace those who had left.
Following the meeting, the draft decisions on the issues considered were unanimously submitted for approval at a session of the Kostanay City Maslikhat.
