
Turkmenbashi, October 7, 2026– Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of KazakhstanMukhtar Tileuberditook part in the Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Central Asian States and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on further developing cooperation within the framework of the Consultative Meetings and discussed current issues on the regional and international agenda.
Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister noted that, since the first summit in 2018, substantial progress had been made in strengthening mutual trust and bringing the Central Asian states and Azerbaijan closer together.
“Thanks to the political will of our Heads of State, relations between our brotherly nations have reached a qualitatively new level. The Consultative Meetings have provided significant momentum for deepening cooperation across trade, industrial cooperation, energy, transport, logistics and digital technologies,”–statedMinisterTileuberdi.
Following the meeting, the ministers agreed on the draft agenda and outcome documents intended for signing at the Eighth Consultative Meeting, scheduled to take place on October 8, 2026, in Turkmenbashi.
