    Investment in Housing Construction in Naurzum District Increases 6.7-Fold

    This year, investment in housing construction in Naurzum District increased 6.7-fold, while the volume of commissioned housing grew by 913%. During a working visit to Naurzum District, Akim of Kostanay Region Kumar Aksakalov inspected ongoing construction works in the village of Karamen.

    Currently, four eight-apartment residential buildings are being constructed in the district center for citizens from socially vulnerable groups.

    As part of the visit, the regional akim met with residents of the district and presented an overview of the region’s socio-economic development. He also answered questions from local residents.

    A total of 276,900 hectares of land were sown in the district, and 231.2 tonnes of agricultural produce were harvested. Some 75,500 tonnes of hay were prepared, with the plan fulfilled by 131.5%. Since the beginning of the year, 70 units of agricultural machinery and equipment have been purchased.

    Three investment projects worth a total of 470 million tenge are being implemented in the agro-industrial sector.

    Modular veterinary stations are currently being constructed in five settlements.

    In 2026, 31 small and medium-sized business entities were established in the district.

    As part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” national environmental campaign, 9,000 seedlings were planted this year. A total of 21 abandoned and emergency structures were demolished.

    During the visit, the regional head also inspected the work of a modern sports and fitness complex, which was opened in 2023.
