    Fighting corruption is everyone's business
Corruption is the use of an official's authority contrary to the law for personal gain or in the interests of others. The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption" includes both bribery and any illegal receipt of tangible or intangible benefits.
    What forms does it take?
Household — small bribes and gifts in the daily communication of citizens with officials.
Systemic — large-scale abuses and the "cutting" of the budget, which have become a familiar mechanism in the work of structures.
Commercial — bribery and abuse of authority in the private and corporate sector.
What does this mean for all of us?
Undermining public confidence in the government.
Damage to the economic development of the country.
Decrease in the quality of public services and infrastructure.
Corruption begins with a "small favor" and ends with a shadow on the entire budget. Only transparency, the inevitability of responsibility and the intolerance of society can stop it.
