    Issues of Developing Kazakhstan–Kenya Cooperation Discussed at the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs

    Nairobi, 5 October 2026. A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya between H.E. Mr. Barlybay Sadykov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Kenya and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Office at Nairobi, and Mr. Josphat Maikara, Director-General for Political and Diplomatic Affairs, and Mr. Samson Koech, Deputy Chief of Protocol, of the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya.

    During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral Kazakhstan–Kenya cooperation, including the practical implementation of the agreements reached following the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

    The sides paid particular attention to preparations for high-level visits, including organisational and protocol matters, the programmes of the visits, and the holding of the planned official events.

    The sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain close cooperation with a view to ensuring the successful preparation of the visit, implementing the agreements reached, and further strengthening friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Kenya.
