A traditional meeting with veterans of public service was held on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons.
The Akim of Kostanay met with veterans of public service and congratulated them on the occasion, wishing them good health, well-being and many years of life.
As part of the event, a short tour of the city’s renovated sites was organized for the participants. They visited the renovated railway station, the public square on Temirbayev Street, and the Osminog Aquapark.
More than 48,000 people of retirement age currently live in Kostanay. Over the years, they have made a significant contribution to the development of the city. Today, representatives of the older generation continue to be an important part of the life of Kostanay.
